Reports To: Marketing Strategist
Job Type: Full-Time, Summer Student Position, Onsite
Contract Dates: May 18, 2026 - August 28, 2026


Position Overview

The Marketing Coordinator will work alongside the Marketing Strategist to bring Habitat for Humanity Saskatchewan’s brand to life. This summer role provides meaningful, hands-on experience across digital marketing, content creation, fundraising campaign support, and donor engagement. You will play an active role in shaping how our mission is communicated to supporters, sponsors, and the broader community, helping to amplify our impact and grow our network of advocates.

Skillset

Marketing & Content

  • Content Creation: Develop compelling written and visual content for digital channels, newsletters, and print materials.
  • Campaign Support: Assist in planning and executing marketing and fundraising campaigns from concept through to completion.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure all materials align with Habitat for Humanity Saskatchewan’s brand guidelines and messaging.
  • Website Maintenance: Update and maintain accurate, engaging content on the organization’s website.
Social Media

  • Content Scheduling: Plan, create, and schedule social media content aligned with campaign calendars and organizational goals.
  • Audience Engagement: Monitor social channels, respond to comments and messages, and foster community interaction.
  • Analytics Tracking: Track post performance and audience growth metrics to inform ongoing content strategy.
Fundraising & Donor Support

  • Sponsorship Tracking: Maintain sponsorship records and ensure all recognition commitments are fulfilled in a timely manner.
  • Donor Communications: Support the preparation of donor acknowledgements, updates, and stewardship materials.
  • Campaign Coordination: Assist in coordinating logistics for fundraising initiatives and community engagement activities.
Administrative Support

  • Database Management: Keep donor and sponsor records accurate and current within organizational databases.
  • Documentation: Track campaign outcomes, prepare reports, and maintain organized records of marketing activities.
  • Event Logistics: Support coordination of event-related tasks including vendor outreach, materials, and volunteer scheduling.


Toolset

  • Digital Platforms: Proficient with social media platforms, website CMS tools, and email marketing platforms.
  • Microsoft Office Suite: Strong working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Communication Skills: Clear, professional written and verbal communication.
  • Organizational Skills: Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail.
  • Creative Tools: Familiarity with design tools such as Canva is an asset.


Experience & Education

  • Current post-secondary student studying marketing, communications, business administration, or a related field.
  • Previous experience or coursework in marketing, social media management, fundraising, or content creation is an asset.
  • Valid Driver’s Licence preferred.
  • Ability to provide a satisfactory Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check.


Work Conditions

  • Full-time summer position during standard office hours, Monday through Friday.
  • Occasional evenings or weekends may be required to support special events or campaigns.
  • Primarily based at the Habitat for Humanity Saskatchewan Provincial Office in Regina.
